Well, I'm about to go study for the LSAT....that is if I can bring myself to actually do it. I feel like I've spent the entire summer preparing for this one test and now I just want to get it over with. I know I will continue to stress about it until Satuday night so I just want to take the damn test so I can actually start focusing on other things. For me, school really doesn't start until Oct. 3rd but by then I'll already be behind. Not to mention that I've been entirely neglectful of my duties as cultural and educational programmer for Asian Pacific Student programs. I don't feel like I can commit as much time to the office as the other programmers because I have so much other stuff going on. Sometimes I feel like I've bitten off more than I can chu! Haha, get it?

On a personal note, I feel like my days of being Mr. Neurtrality in senate are long gone. This year has so far proven to be eventful and dramatic. We have not even had our first meeting of the year yet I feel that people are already divided and entangling alliances have already brought about some clashes between people. There seems to be a prevading feeling of mistrust among many people and my optimism is clouded by my underlying suspicions of others. I don't really know if some of the people on senate are truly genuine or merely putting up a facade. Also, I just wish that my personal issues didn't come into play at the work office because that only serves to exaccerbate already hightened tensions. I like being quiet on senate because I'd much rather be a spectator than a participant in this arena of student government. I wish things were simplier and I wish that people wouldn't make judgements. I've been drawn into something that is out of my hands. I hope that no one thinks that it was ever anyone's intention to cause them harm or pain. In the words of wisdom from Rodney King "Can't we all just get along?"

This is an exact copy of my live journal entry. So if you've read that, I'm sorry to dissapoint but I'm low on energy and time!

This past weekend was our annual ASUCR summer retreat. This year it was held in sunny Palm Springs. Liz, our Chair did an awesome job planning the entire retreat. The house we stayed at was great. It had a pool and spa as well as a pool house! That's where I stayed. Everything was perfect aside from the abundance of cock roaches that scurried around every where. They were in bathtubs, the living room and some were just chilling by the pool. Yea, not a very pretty site.

There were some memorable highlights from the retreat. On the way there we played a photo scavenger hunt game, courtesy of Nadine, and one of the items required 2 senators to switch clothing. So I and Kenny, a new CHASS senator volunteered. We undressed behind the "Palm Springs" sign which was kind of open to the road passing right by it. I'm sure some passing motorists might have seen us. Heaven forbid that they thought anything of it. But the picture turned out great. Kenny ended up wearing my shirt that read "everybody loves an asian boy." You see, he's white....therein lies the humor. You may now chuckle.

Now I'm back studying LSATs and I'm sooo stressed! Oct 2nd is fast approaching! I feel like I've hit a wall and I don't know how to climb over it. I'm getting very worried. If your reading this, keep your fingers crossed for me. Thanks!

Well, another Monday has arrived and boy am I not excited to start another week. The new school year is fast approaching and my LSAT on Oct 2nd is nearing closer as well. Both are very sobering thoughts.

But this past weekend was very nice as I spent some quality time with a friend. We cooked, lounged at the pool, and partook of the great American pastime, minature golf!

This upcoming weekend is the annual ASUCR retreat which will be held in Palm Springs this year. I'm stolked and can't wait. The house that we're staying at has a pool and spa. Seeing as that at every retreat, some if not a great many senators end up naked either through their own volition or by means of losing some sort of drunken game, there might be a chance of spontaneous nudity during this outing. Either way, late nite skinny dipping in the pool doesn't seem like too much of an implausability......let the fun begin boys and girls.....

So it's been a very very long time since I last left an entry in here. I guess the devilish Live Journal has temporarily lured me away.

In any event, this is Labor Day weekend and the weather has been quite nice. In fact, it's pretty windy today. The blinds keep smackin against the dry wall.

Today shall be another day of some LSAT studying...YAR!. *Sigh* This test will be the death of me.

Now if you haven't read about my awesomely pimpin rolling backpack, then you need to check out my live journal. It really is a piece of work.

I'm so glad it's startin to cool down. It's the one time of year when Riverside doesn't always seem like "Dryside."
